2019 is off and running, as we all know. And everyone I talk to seems to agree that it's already going by way too fast. Fowlerville Rotary Club has been busy already this year with guest speakers, fund raising events being planned, and community service projects in the making. 

 

One of those projects is "Fleece and Thank You", a nation-wide nonprofit organization, founded by Bryce Goulah. Bryce and his team make blankets along with a special audio recording for children who have long-term hospital stays to help comfort them.  Fowlerville Rotary unanimously agreed to be a part of this and help make blankets for Bryce to take to the hospitals. Thanks to Steve Mcdermaid and Kathy Pikkarainen, we have partnered with Fowlerville Community Schools in order to allow the students to also have a part in this. The time and place for this TBA.

 

Also coming up in April is the Poker Run which is huge fund raiser for Fowlerville Rotary which allows us to do even more for our community.
